Short and sweet post to showcase a card I made to welcome the New Year (and say farewell to the last). The TGIF Color Challenge #297 inspired me to keep this card black and white! I had been wanting to try the eclipse technique, and finally gave it a whirl. I’m also entering this into the Stampin’ Up Only Challenge #266 - Designer’s Choice.
I used the new True Love Designer Series Paper and fussy cut one of the flower bunches. I used the Playful Alphabet dies to cut out the 2021. And I used foam sheets to add the dimension. The aloha die cut is from the "In The Tropics" dies. I layered them 3 times using the basic black cardstock and adhesive sheets. This is all layered onto a Whisper White card base and a layer that was dry embossed using the Subtle embossing folder.
