This will be a quick post to showcase a mixed-media card for the Just Add Ink #515 Mixed Media Challenge. The inspiration for the layout came from JanasPaperDreams. Her use of the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and coordinating dies gave her multi-media card a modern feel. I used the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set and matching designer series paper based on my customer's preference. She's been admiring my cards for awhile, and she absolutely LOVES everything made with these coordinating products.
I’m also sharing my project with the Crafting Happiness challenge #59 - Always Anything Goes.
The background of the card was created using ink blending brushes, Blushing Bride and Highland Heather die-based inks, and a Water Painter brush. The purses were all fussy cut from the (now retired) designer series paper. The leaf/branch die cuts were from the Sunflower dies. Silver thread, burlap ribbon, and rhinestone basic jewels were added sporadically. The heels were masked/stamped and colored with a Water Painter brush. The metal rose was from the Share What You Love embellishment kit (currently on clearance for $4.40).
