I created this card as a custom order for a friend to deliver to a couple in her life that has always been supportive, hospitable, inclusive, and forward thinking. The sentiments that come in the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set are beautiful, but my friend was looking for this card to express something specifically for them. After a little research, I discovered the matching fonts to make my custom sentiment look similar to the existing Celebrate Sunflower sentiments.
I'm entering this card into 3 challenges
• Stampin' Up Only SUOC 252 - Celebrating Summer, because what better way to celebrate summer than with some big bold beautiful Sunflowers!
• My Favorite Things - Wed Sketch Challenge - Sketch 496, it's not flipped on the same side, but there was inspiration here, because the Sunflower flips open to expose the inside of the card.
• TGIF Challenges 270 - Summer Vibes, my card isn’t as colorful as the designers, however these big beautiful sunflowers embody summer vibes!

I continue to hope my small statements about anti-racism help enlighten others and encourage someone who was previously silent, to learn something new, about how to ally, about how silence is harmful, about how what All Lives Matter represents. We shouldn't claim "All Lives Matter" - check out this article. “Black Lives Matter” doesn't mean - ONLY Black lives matter, it means there are social injustices happening all the time (small scale, publicly seen examples, in the workplace, etc.) that need to be addressed so that Black lives can be considered equal to others.
Raising awareness to even ONE person who would normally sit silent, is a step in the right direction.
