Level Up Treat Bags

I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. We're only a couple weeks away from my son's first school year! We had a Mom's Happy Hour Social for the elementary school and I decided to bring small baked cookies in a darling cellophane treat bag.

Assembly Instructions

1. Trim a cellophane treat bag down to the size of the "treat" with a little extra space for the length of the folded label, and 1 extra inch. Size of the treat bag could vary based on your treat. Mine was 4" x 9" originally and I trimmed it to 4" x 5". ☺️

2. Score and burnish the treat bag opening at 1". This fold will help secure your treat inside.

3. Use a rectangle of white card stock (again, the size depends on the treat and treat bag), and score/fold it in half. I used the Stitched Rectangles, the 2nd largest die, and trimmed it down to 4.25" long. Scored in half at 2 1/8". and Hippo & Friends Dies.

4. Use a fun large label die cut to add some design to the white label. I used the Hippo & Friends dies and the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper. I also trimmed the label in half.

5. Adhere the designer series paper and stamp a sentiment on the front. Optionally: Use Heat embossing to add some shine. The sentiment "smile" is from the Lovely You stamp set.

6. Punch holes through the paper and cellophane bag using the Label Me Fancy punch.

7. Add some ribbon to close the treat bag. I used the white 1/4" crinkled seam ribbon. Tip: I used a large needle to easily feed the ribbon through the holes.
